Reina is our goofy Doberman who runs laps and laps inside our house when we get home−as most dogs do. She is a bull in a china shop, sliding all over the place on the hardwood floors, knocking into furniture. Though stubborn and strong minded, she knows that my mom lays down the law at our house and knows that she’ll get yelled at as soon as my mom hears her running through the house. Reina will be in the middle of her laps, spot my mom, come to a slow, glacial walk as she passes her, and as soon as the coast is clear, she’ll pick up her sprints, right from where she left off.
