Seven Ways To Show Your Dog Love

Show your dog love

Quick survey: Do you love your dog? Of course you do, so to celebrate National Love Your Pet Day, here’s a list of seven things you can do to show your dog how much you love her.

1) Pet your dog
Rubbing your dog’s belly or scratching him right behind the ears is an easy way to show some love.

2) Go for a car ride together
Most dogs love going for a R-I-D-E in the car. Take your pup with you the next time you go for a drive and give her the chance to see what’s beyond your backyard.

3) Train your dog
This one may sound silly, but having a well-trained dog frees you up to take your furry pal to lots of fun places and to enjoy more activities together. It also helps you form a healthy bond with your dog.

4) Take your dog to the veterinarian
Keeping your dog healthy may not be the most fun thing on this list, but it may be the most important. Show your love by making the time to visit your veterinarian regularly for checkups.

5) Get active together
Walking, running or just being outside together isn’t just great for your dog, it keeps you healthy and active too. Head out to your favorite park or trail and get after it.

6) Let your dog be a dog
When it comes down to it, dogs will be dogs. Give yours a chance to use up her energy by doing what comes naturally—running around, playing and loving you.

7) Protect your dog from parasites
Fleas, heartworm disease and intestinal parasites can cause serious health issues for your pooch and major heartache for you, but you can help avoid these problems by protecting your dog with Trifexis® (spinosad + milbemycin oxime). It’s the monthly, beef-flavored tablet that kills fleas and prevents flea infestations, prevents heartworm disease, and treats and controls adult hookworm*, roundworm and whipworm infections. Please note that your dog needs to be 8 weeks of age or older and weigh 5 pounds or more to use Trifexis.

Serious adverse reactions have been reported following concomitant extra-label use of ivermectin with spinosad alone, one of the components of Trifexis chewable tablets. Please see additional Important Safety Information below.
